Efficient systems save lives, protect assets, and ensure continuity.
The ABDC Fire Safety Working Group brings together specialists, operators, and manufacturers to discuss technical and regulatory solutions for critical environments.
The goal is to promote prevention, protection, and operational continuity for data centers.
The group works collaboratively, aligning innovation, compliance, and best practices.
Our focus is on ensuring safety without compromising efficiency.
Together, we are building a safer, more reliable, and resilient sector.
Fire Safety Working Group
ABDC created the Fire Safety Working Group to bring together specialists, operators, manufacturers, and consultants around a common purpose: strengthening sector protection through technical expertise, standardization, and innovation.
The Working Group acts as a collaborative platform to discuss challenges, propose guidelines, and monitor technological and regulatory trends.
Topics covered include: clean agent suppression systems, water mist suppression, early detection, integration with automation systems, certifications, national and international standards (such as NBR, NFPA, ISO, EN54), emergency plans, and training.
In addition to the technical aspects, the group also seeks to promote alignment with regulatory bodies, fire departments, and certification entities, contributing to the creation of a clear, modern, and applicable regulatory environment for Brazil’s data centers.
The group also fosters the production of technical guides, advisory notes, and active participation in events and training sessions promoted by ABDC.
Safety is not just a legal requirement — it is a commitment to continuity, the integrity of digital assets, and, above all, to life itself.
By strengthening this topic within ABDC’s institutional agenda, the Working Group directly contributes to raising the standard of excellence of Brazil’s digital infrastructure.
